The MUCE Open Air Market was successful and a safe experience amid the continued COVID-19 pandemic. We had a great turn out & the food was delicious
(I had the classic chicken & waffle with the spicy syrup on top from Nomadic Chicken, it was the perfect combination of sweet, savory and spice.)
And the best part of the entire market was that It didn't rain not one drop! The weather was definitely on our side! It was a great day for fun & laughter.
We also had over 20 boxes of fruits and vegetables to give out FOR FREE! Those affected by today's circumstances were able to go home with a box of fresh produce. Each box was filled with carrots, apples, sweet potatoes and squash. How amazing is that?!
A special shout out to Jess, our great market coordinator, Masjid Al-Ansar Food Pantry, who provided the boxes of produce, Lance, for enlightening us with health tips, Ashlee Thomas, who lead an all age yoga session, Circle Of Brotherhood, for volunteering your time, & of course, the MUCE Campus, for creating a space to circulate our dollars back into our local community!

Thank you to the many talented individuals who came far and wide all to jam out during our market! We had drummers, vocalist, bass players, EVEN A SAXOPHONE PLAYER! They all plugged in and SHOWED OUT! You had to be there. Just to name a few of the talented jammers; We featured Richy B @richyb_ , Nadege @nadege.nightgale , Will Caton @willcantonjr_ , and so many more!
