Join us for a transformative event as Mén Beni Gardening proudly hosts a Juneteenth Environmental Summit. This groundbreaking summit will delve into the rich landscape of Black Futurism, exploring how the Black community is navigating the challenges of gentrification and embracing environmental sustainability to shape a vibrant future.
At the heart of our summit is a deep exploration of Black Futurism—a visionary movement that celebrates the resilience, creativity, and ingenuity of Black culture. Through panel discussions, keynote presentations, and interactive workshops, we will explore how the Black community is reclaiming narratives, envisioning bold futures, and preparing for the impacts of gentrification.
Gentrification, a pressing issue faced by many communities, disproportionately affects Black neighborhoods, leading to displacement, loss of cultural heritage, and environmental injustices. Our summit will provide a platform to discuss strategies for community resilience, equitable development, and environmental justice.
